Abby, Amy & Audrey Easter Sunday 2022

September 2007 Family Cookbook

In the summer of 2007, with her own bun in the oven, Amy collected recipes from family and typed them all up.

“We were always looking up the same recipes. I’d call Mom on the phone to say, ‘Hey, where’s the recipe for the pie crust?’ We decided that we needed all the recipes that we use over and over in one place.”

With the finest fonts and clip art available in Microsoft Word, the spiral bound, teal covered “Our Favorite Family Recipes” became a staple in the kitchen.

In April of 2022, after an iOS update, Andy realized he could copy text from pictures, and that helped tremendously in getting the site launched.

I requested this as a birthday dessert in 2023 but no dice.Continue reading “Water Pie… FINALLY!”
  • New pie – pretty yummy
Caramel Banana Pie I’m wondering how this caramel sauce would be incorporated into banana pudding. It goes really well with bananas, cool whip, and crunchy pie crust, so it should be pretty amazing in banana pudding.
