- 1 pound lean ground beef
- ½ pound Italian pork sausage, mild or hot to your preference
- ⅓ cup seasoned bread crumbs (1 slice of bread toasted and pulsed in food processor)
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl. Mix well.
- Divide into 16 meatballs. (1.5 oz each)
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F for 3 minutes.
- Place meatballs in a single layer in the air fryer. Turn air fryer down to 380°F.
- Cook meatballs for 14 minutes. After about 8 minutes, pull out the basket and give it a good shake to turn the meatballs. Return basket and finish cooking.
- Let meatballs rest 3 minutes before serving.
- We serve over pasta and red sauce.
