2 cans croissant dough
2 or 3 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced thin.

Melt together:
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Break dough apart. Put a couple of tablespoons of apples in dough and roll up, tuck under dough and place in buttered dish. Sprinkle 1/2 cup raisins over apple rolls (optional). Pour sugar mixture over rolls. Pour one can of Mountain Dew soda over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until top is brown and crunchy. Let set 5-10 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
