Breakfast Casserole

6 slices bread
1 lb sausage
2 cups Half and Half
1 ½ cups grated cheese
6 eggs
Salt and pepper

Cook sausage until brown. Drain and set aside. Remove crusts from bread and spread with butter or margarine. Beat together eggs, salt, and Half & Half. In a greased 9’x 13″ baking dish, place buttered bread, sausage, shredded cheese, then egg mixture. Cover and chill overnight. Bake 350° for 25-30 minutes, until golden brown.
