Buttered Popcorn

4 quarts popped popcorn
1 ¼ cups sugar
2/3 cup oleo
2/3 cup dark corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp soda
Can of mixed nuts

Bring sugar, syrup and oleo in pan to a good boil. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla and soda. Pour over popcorn and nuts and stir until all is coated with syrup mixture. Spread on to a cookie sheet with sides that has been sprayed with Pam. Bake in oven at 350° for one hour, stirring popcorn after 30 minutes. Let cool and break up into pieces and store in air tight container.
