Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Cookies

½ pound unsalted butter (room temperature)
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 extra large eggs (room temperature) *
2/3 cup good cocoa powder (recommend Schaffen Berger)
2 tsp good vanilla
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp kosher salt
1 bag good chocolate chips (recommend Ghirardelli)

Preheat Oven to 350 Degrees
Cream butter and sugar, add vanilla, then eggs one ate a time. Mix well, then add cocoa and mix again. Sift all dry ingredients and add slowly with mixer on low until combined. Fold in chocolate chips.

Drop dough on sheet, flatten slightly. Bake exactly 15 Minutes.
