2 Tb oil
2 lbs ground beef
2 stalks celery
1 onion
1 bell pepper
2 cans (14 oz) stewed tomatoes
1 can original Rotel tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 cup water
2 pkgs McCormack mild chili mix
1 can (14 oz) kidney beans
1 can (14 oz) Ranch Style chili beans
Salt and pepper
1 Tb vinegar (I omitted this)
Heat oil in large pan – brown meat.
Add celery, onion and bell pepper. Cook 5 minutes.
Stir in tomatoes, sauce and water.
Add chili mixes.
Mix beans in. Do not drain.
Simmer 1 hour. Add vinegar.
This chili is really really good and tastes just like Wendy’s. Next time I make it I will add more celery. Maybe 3 stalks instead of 2.
